Nippon Animation Shorts Award
With the NIPPON ANIMATION SHORTS AWARD, we are partnering with Wacom to present an award for the best animated short film for the first time. Nominated for the competition are animated films that are at most 20 minutes long and were either produced in Japan or made by Japanese directors between 2024 and 2026. The prize, endowed with € 2,000, will be awarded by a three-member jury. The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm Saal.
